My name is Scotty Reifsnyder, and I’m a Pennsylvania-based illustrator and designer who enjoys turning big ideas into clear, engaging images. I hold an MFA in Graphic & Interactive Design from Tyler School of Art, where I learned to balance concept, craft, and a healthy amount of curiosity.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with clients including Disney/Pixar, Mountain Dew, Chronicle Books, GQ, TIME, The Boston Globe, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Wired. My work has been recognized by American Illustration, Communication Arts, The Dieline, and Print Magazine, and has found its way into exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, and Anaheim.
Before launching my independent practice in 2011, I worked as a designer at the award-winning Philadelphia studio Headcase Design. These days, alongside my studio work, I teach in the Art + Design Department at West Chester University of Pennsylvania and have previously taught at the University of Pennsylvania and Tyler School of Art—where I focus on visual storytelling, thoughtful problem-solving, and having a little fun along the way.
